Let me start by saying Australia is a huge country and it has everything to offer the motorcycle traveler.
We have Coast Lines to die for, Snow covered Mountain Ranges and Deserts that will melt you away.
We have relaxing country roads that can take you to the bustling city centres or lead you into the great Australian outback.
People often dream of traveling around Australia by motorbike but soon realise how far it is and how long it can take.
To ride around mainland Australia can be done in about a month via the quickest route which is over 14,000kms. This would mean riding 466kms a day for a month!
Obviously this is not the best way to see Australia.
You can find useful information in the Travel Sub Menu above, in which I have created pages on various subjects that I think would be useful to anyone wanting to ride a motorcycle in Australia.
I have started creating motorcycle road reviews, which I hope will help you plan or decide where you would like to travel or ride your motorcycle in Australia.
There are also stories about the Adventure Rides that we have done, they may be a source of information too. You can find them here... Adventure Ride List

| The Black Spur - Victoria
Lots of corners and beautiful scenery but can be very busy on the weekends. This road is a motorcyclists mecca and just being around so many bikes is fun in itself. Healesville to Marysville ride
| Great Ocean Road - Victoria
This would have to be the One and Only Classic Australian Motorcycle Road, that most if not all motorcycle riders have on their "TO DO LIST" or their "DONE THAT LIST". Anglesea to Port Campbell ride
| The Rawson V - Victoria
This was one of those roads that just seemed to flow beautifully corner after corner. Who ever made this road was obviously thinking about riding his cruiser along it. Traralgon to Moe via Rawson ride
A Work in Progress!
